What is Instructional Design? Well, when we use the term Instructional Design, we’re referring to the process that we use to design instructional strategies and activities that ensure learners will acquire new knowledge, skills and attitudes. There are a number of different stages in the instructional design process. We start out by analyzing learning needs and goals. Once we’ve determined what an individual or organization’s learning needs and goals are, then we can start to develop the instructional materials and activities that will effectively meet those goals.
